About Simis
Simis as is a spin-off company from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), established in 2013. We develop Ashes, our aero-servo-hydro-elastic simulation software for the design and analysis of onshore and offshore wind turbines.
What we believe
Our goal is to give superpowers to engineers. Two convictions guide how we build Ashes:
- User experience matters just as much as getting the numbers right—even in advanced engineering tools.
- Cloud computing is transforming simulation, making aeroelastic analysis dramatically faster and more cost-efficient while giving every engineer access to virtually unlimited computing power.
