Ashes license information
How does the license work?
When you download and install Ashes, you automatically receive a free Evaluation License. This allows you to test the software for 14 days. The evaluation is for testing only — it may not be used for teaching, research, consulting, or commercial projects.
What happens after the evaluation?
- If you want to continue using Ashes for commercial or industrial purposes, your company must purchase a Commercial License.
- If you want to use Ashes for teaching or non-commercial research, your university or research group may qualify for a discounted Research/Academic License.
How are licenses accepted?
By installing and using Ashes, you accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). If you (or your organization) purchase a license, the invoice and payment confirm the license type and scope.
