Linear springs
Linear springs in Ashes are applied on nodes and modeled as a
support

) with a
stiffness
(in N/m for translational springs and N/rad for rotational springs). When a spring is applied onto a node, the node will experience a load

where

$$L_i$$is the load (either a force or a moment ) in the direction corresponding to the degree of freedom$$i$$
