Benchmarks from Bell (1987)

In this document we compare results produced by Ashes to results published by  Bell (1987b) . In this book, several simulations using Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko beam elements are presented, which we use to verify our implementation of Timoshenko beam elements.
