Blade rotational inertia

1 Test description

This test uses a simple blade of one single elementwith a constant cross-section. The aim of the test is to verify that the rotational inertia is correctly implemented for blades. This blade is not meant to represent a realistic wind turbine blade. 

Note: the shape of the DTU blade is kept for this test to enable an intuitive visualisation of the flapwise and edgewise directions, but the structural properties of this blade are not those of the DTU blade.

The following load cases are tested:
