Some parts of Ashes, such as the Generator , or the Gearbox , are not defined as FEM entities but affect the simulation through a set of equations that influence the behaviour of the model. For all other parts, it is possible to get the characteristics of the FEM defining the part.

In this section we show how to access this information for the main shaft. The FEM characteristics can be accessed by clicking the part highlighted in the following section:
