If the parameter Transmission of the RNA part is set to Geared, the Gearbox part will appear, with the folowing parameters:

General

Ratio scheme

The gear ratio can be estimated based on the generator or specified by you.

A gear box is added to the RNA if the 'Transmission' parameter is set to' Geared'.

Options:

From generator:

Gear ratio estimated based on the generator rated rpm and rotor target rated rpm. The minimum gear ratio is 1.

User defined (default):

Gear ratio set by you. The property Gear ratio is shown below.

Gear ratio

The ratio of the angular velocity of the input gear (i.e. main shaft velocity or low-speed shaft velocity) to the angular velocity of the output gear (i.e. generator velocity or high-speed shaft velocity). The minimum value of the ratio is 1.
