Ashes uses several different file formats depending on the context. Most user-defined files that you can edit are in a text format, with the file extension *.txt. This section explains how these files are defined.

By default, all exported text files include documentation/comments and placeholder text . This can be diabled in the Export settings tab of the Preferences .
